He may be questioning his decision after his first full winter in Iowa. Having lived there before the cold weather is to another level. That, and it’s Ames so there is nothing to do there.

Went to help someone repair his home’s foundation in SW Iowa (hour away from Omaha) last September and the humidity was not for me. I don’t want to imagine that in the winter.

Well Iowa has Kum & Go and Casey's...at least better gas stations than Nebraska.
Casey’s are all over Omaha now…pretty much any Shell, or BP station is now a Casey’s. Kum&Go drove out the 7-11’s and Texacos at least 20 years ago, and still thriving. A lot of QT’s around here, too.

QT is coming to Denver and the first one should be opening this spring.

Didn’t CU beat Georgia the last they played?

Ancient history, I know.
Two things annoyed me with that game. One, wtf is up with our pants? Make them gold like the damn helmet. Second, what could Hansen have ended up being? He had some ability. I'm not saying superstar or anything but a very good QB possibly. Guess we'll never know.

you amaze me, dude. we're talking about a football game from 12 years ago and the first thing you recollect is not liking the pants.

No numb nuts, I recall the win first and foremost. The speed option play was very nice indeed. Excuse me for not liking the pants. :D

And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to deduce that leading the nation in kick-off returns and yardage isn’t a great thing. In 1981, he returned 30 kick-offs for over 700 yards. The defense was getting scorched. A lot.
Was that the year OU put 80 something on our ass? Didn't see that one till I saw a replay of it. I wasn't born yet for that fiasco.
