I can't imagine we are trying to bring in more Safeties. That's a very full and competitive room as it stands today and Shilo gets added to it.
Only 5'8" and Louisiana had him in the "Star" position this spring. It sounds like that's a Rover CB/S hybrid position in a base Nickel.

He hadn't even played a single down since his injury. I get it, it's a big injury, but not like it was 30 years ago.

I disagree. The situation and coaching will be much higher up on the list compared to your average recruit.
He ill get it all regardless. So yes, the money does indeed matter. A lot.

He may not need the assistance of a school's boosters to get endorsements. But what he would need is playing time at a major program to achieve his earnings potential, so I can definitely see him trying to get somewhere else if Sark is going to make him wait a year.
