This has been a tough day as a fan. Certainly made worse by the early first day start time and our poor performance. The team looked like **** today. From the start.

However... I am proud of the young men who represented us and our University with poise and class this season on the court. 4 years, 4 tourneys. More than you can say of a lot of schools. Go Buffs! We will have another chance next year.

Please no 5 seed, though.

You just used the exact same insult I did. If you want to fight all the time, at least get good at it.
 
We all need to keep in mind that we had 177 of the available minutes played by sophomores and freshmen. (im not counting the final 2 minutes that mills/nelson/gamble, etc were in the game).

This is a young team.
 
Does anyone think the Buffs were kind of subliminally satisfied to just make it into the tourney? I think the battle to get in after SD went down just sapped them.

No. I think they didn't know what to expect and ran into a team that featured 2 5th-year seniors that knew what it took. Moment overwhelmed the Buffs a bit and the opponent was in the mode of seizing that moment. Perfect storm for what happened.
