Jon Embree's Boulder-based agent, Jack Mills, wouldn't give dollar figures but said the contract is for less money than what Colorado paid Dan Hawkins, who was fired last month with a five-year record of 19-39.

Curious why an agent would bring that up? Normally they focus on the positive.

Also...It makes sense. DH was a head coach and VERY coveted. I don't think JE has even interviewed for HC positions outside of CU. Plus, Even though it's an oxymoron, I think this is more of an HC by committee deal.

If you know Mills, you would know he's not your normal Agent. That wasn't a dig at his client, it was just a statement of fact. Mills is based in boulder, teaches at the law school, and has a LONG history of being the agent for prominent CU players. I think this is his first time representing a CU head coach tho . I think he signed JSmith, but I don't know that.
