Alex Lewis, ex-CU Buffs lineman, pleads not guilty in Boulder assault case

Alex Lewis -- the former University of Colorado lineman accused of assaulting an Air Force cadet on University Hill in May -- entered a plea of not guilty this morning and is scheduled to stand trial in 2014.

No matter how the legal situation ends he has effectively destroyed his FBS college football career. CU isn't taking him back, I don't see kNU taking him. It isn't like he was in high demand as a recruit or did anything at CU that would inspire other schools to want him.

He better be looking hard at FCS schools to continue his FB career. Karma gets the quiter. CU gave him the opportunity that kNU wouldn't then he wants to turn his back on CU and ends up with neither
