Since the Buffs were passing the ball pretty well in the first half, why run the football?
I might have just missed it, but I never saw an explanation of why we abandoned the running game when Cody came in. Someone must have asked the question to one of the coaches, right?
I wasnt at the game but from the poeple who used my tickets they said as soon as Tyler went down TT was stacking the box, stuffing the run and basically daring us to go deep since Cody is no threat to run it.
Which is exactly what all the remaining teams will do imho.
Of course. That's how you beat Cody. Stack the box and play the DBs up. Dare him to float a duck over your head to beat you deep.

Could it have been that at times we had Cefalo, Espinoza and Jefferson at wr. Call me crazy but I think we are tipping our hand that a run is coming your way. Can we not spread the field, thus spreading the defense out and run out of that formation. Good god its not that tough.
Because our coaches are morons.
I get that. What I'd like to know is if the coaches actually addressed this issue and gave an answer to the question, "Why'd you go exclusively to the pass?"
The offense sure seems different whenever Cody is in the game. Almost as if the game is entirely on his shoulders, which I do not get at all.
CH will complete a ****load of short balls for 5.0 tards or less per attempt.
Tards per attempt, eh?
I wonder if Cody will have a better TPA than Hansen this year?
