Askia Booker - 1,740 Points Scored (6th All-Time at CU)

UCLA is on Saturday? ****.

Then Utah at home after the week off.

We need to break out and somehow knock off Utah if we want to really get rolling.

If we can win the next two, you have to like our chances at a top 4 finish. That happens, then anything is possible in Vegas.

So one of the things we dont give Plati enough credit for around here are historical stats used to win arguments, Shaun Vandiver shot 200-400 fewer shots than anyone else in the top 7 in CU scoring history, that is insane to me.

Man, I always thought Vandiver was one of the all-time under-rateds at CU. He gets so little mentions but had such great, soft hands and could finish absolutely everything. I loved that guy's game back in the day. At the time was convinced he'd be a perfect fit at the NBA level. Shows ya what I know.

What do people think of his pro prosoects? I know a role in the nba is unlikely, but a solid career overseas is certainly an option. how does it compare to toiling in the d league? Could be become a role player in the nba somewhere?

Ski or nate robinson?

Ski.

He won't be in the NBA. Not big enough nor efficient enough to overcome the height.

He will have a LONG career somewhere overseas though.

Won't be in the league. He can make more money playing overseas then playing in the D-league.

Ski might need a second tournament game to finish 6.th.

He hasn't been right since the USC douche checked him into the scorer's table and the adrenaline from that night wore off. Considering his game is so much about speed/quickness/explosion, it's no wonder that a hip pointer has been a tough one to fight through.

Well, 29 tonight sure helped. Ski's highest scoring home game as a Buff. So he's at 1,677 now? (math isn't my strong suit) leaving him 3 shy of #7 Emmett Lewis and 50 shy of #6 Stevie Wise. Sure seems a lot more doable after tonight, but it's probably going to be a very close call if we don't give ourselves a 4th game. He's averaging 16.9 ppg this season so if that held he'd be right at where Wise is (1 point ahead rounding up) if we only have 3 games.

Current numbers:

1.) Cory Higgins & Richard Roby - 2,001 points (324 ahead of Ski)
3.) Donnie Boyce - 1,995 points (318 ahead of Ski)
4.) Cliff Meely - 1,940 points (263 ahead of Ski)
5.) Shaun Vandiver - 1,876 points (199 ahead of Ski)
6.) Stevie Wise - 1,727 points (50 ahead of Ski)
7.) Emmett Lewis - 1,680 points (3 ahead of Ski)
8.) Askia Booker - 1,677 points
9.) Randy Downs - 1,566 points

With 3 games left, if Ski stays healthy, here's what he'd have to average to catch up:

7.) Emmett Lewis - 1 ppg
6.) Stevie Wise - 16.7 ppg
5.) Shaun Vandiver - 66.3 ppg
4.) Cliff Meely - 87.7 ppg
3.) Donnie Boyce - 106 ppg
1.) Cory Higgins & Richard Roby - 108 ppg

Ski has five career blocks, including this one:

Moved up to 7th all-time last night.

Current numbers:

1.) Cory Higgins & Richard Roby - 2,001 points (319 ahead of Ski)
3.) Donnie Boyce - 1,995 points (313 ahead of Ski)
4.) Cliff Meely - 1,940 points (258 ahead of Ski)
5.) Shaun Vandiver - 1,876 points (194 ahead of Ski)
6.) Stevie Wise - 1,727 points (45 ahead of Ski)
7.) Askia Booker - 1,682 points
8.) Emmett Lewis - 1,680 points
9.) Randy Downs - 1,566 points

With 2 games left, if Ski stays healthy, here's what he'd have to average to catch up:

6.) Stevie Wise - 22.5 ppg
5.) Shaun Vandiver - 97 ppg
4.) Cliff Meely - 129 ppg
3.) Donnie Boyce - 156.5 ppg
1.) Cory Higgins & Richard Roby - 159.5 ppg

So if Ski gets really hot and the buffs play 3 games, he could make #5. More likely would require a couple of extra post-season games after the P12 tournament. Either way it's been a great career and accomplishment. Wish all our best players could go for 4 years.

Heading into the last guaranteed game of the year.

Current numbers:

1.) Cory Higgins & Richard Roby - 2,001 points (293 ahead of Ski)
3.) Donnie Boyce - 1,995 points (287 ahead of Ski)
4.) Cliff Meely - 1,940 points (232 ahead of Ski)
5.) Shaun Vandiver - 1,876 points (168 ahead of Ski)
6.) Stevie Wise - 1,727 points (19 ahead of Ski)
7.) Askia Booker - 1,708 points
8.) Emmett Lewis - 1,680 points
9.) Randy Downs - 1,566 points
