There are a couple of things you'll notice (or won't) in the strength and conditioning domain at the University of Colorado under new guy Dave Forman.

I like the additional emphasis on reducing injuries. We've been plagued and at a certain point you have to say that it's been about more than bad luck. Forman has a track record on that, which is great. It's not just talk.

I was thinking back to the 2012 class when we were recruiting Walker Williams. Walker's a smart kid who really knew what he was looking for. His dad told me that one of the biggest things Walker focused on what the Strength & Conditioning Coach and what the program's record was in regard to injury problems. That was a big reason that Wisconsin was able to hold onto his commitment despite their staff being turned over and Walker liking CU a lot.
