BOULDER – The Colorado Buffaloes lost yet another game at home, this time to the Utah Utes 86-81. It extended the Runnin’ Utes win streak to seven straight against Colorado and dropped the Buffaloes back into postseason no man’s land.

Derrick White had a monster 31 point game, including the dunk of the college basketball season but as Tad Boyle would say after the game, his performance was wasted.

“Terrific. I don’t know where we’d be without him,” Boyle said. “Derrick White is not our problem right now.”

“It’s really frustrating,” Boyle spoke to his team’s play. “Extremely frustrating. Probably past frustrating. I’m to the anger stage.”

On a late Thursday evening, Colorado let Utah shoot over 55 percent, and command the glass, the two things known to be the staples of #TadBall. Once again, Colorado lost in predictable fashion, because they didn’t do the fundamentals for which and made the Boyle era memorable.
