Buffs at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships (June 7th-10th)

About 5 minutes until ESPN final day coverage of the Championships begins, with Dani Jones scheduled to start her 1500M race soon after at 4:41 MT. The 3K steeplechase follows right after with Madie Boreman at 4:54. Somewhat later, in one of the last races of the Championships, Erin Clark goes for her 2nd All-American honor this Championships in the 5K, scheduled to start at 6:25.

Looks like 5th place for Dani Jones. Another 1st Team All-American, (although she may have had higher aspirations)!

Of course, still a long way to go as far as event scoring, and the Buffs will be swamped once the sprints and hurdles results start rolling in, but after being shut out in points last season, the Buff women already have 16 this year, and are in a TEMPORARY tie for 4th place overall.

We're 15 minutes away from the final race of the season for the Buffs with Erin Clark in the 5000m

Interesting team race overall. Oregon came in considered the HEAVY favorite, but their favorite in the 200M just fell before the finish, and now it looks like the point race will be VERY close, with Georgia possibly pulling the major upset while pretty much scoring ALL their points in field and multi events.

Proud of Dani, Madison and Erin.

Way to represent. Congrats on wrapping up your outdoor season at nationals with honors.

Oregon also **** the bed in the relays. This championship has been horrible for them when you compare $$ to outcome.

I have CU graduate friend who's daughter is now a scholarship softball player at Oregon. He was trying to convince me that Oregon is a better school than CU overall because of how much money they have put in to non-revenue sports.

While I obviously disagreed with him, it took every ounce of maturity and restraint not to tell him he was an idiot and to **** off.

Currently in about 12th with 9 laps to go but everyone still together
