Buffs Compete In RMISA Qualifier

ELDORA—The University of Colorado ski team participated in an RMISA Giant Slalom Qualifier race here at Eldora Mountain Resort Tuesday, one day after claiming victory in the Spencer Nelson Memorial Invitational.

“It was a good maintenance day,” CU Coach Richard Rokos said. “The kids weren’t pushing super hard, but they worked on individual things, trying to improve on seeding position. They had some solid runs without anything super exciting happening.”

In men’s action, sophomore Roger Carry continued his impressive weekend by finishing fourth in a time of 1:53.75 in the men’s race after taking home a second place finish on Monday. He has three top five finishes in four GS races this season.
