STANFORD—Sophomore Esther Lee shot a 2-under par 69 to finish in the top 10 and the University of Colorado women’s golf team shaved six strokes off its first round score and finished in seventh place in the first event of the spring season, the Peg Barnard Invitational, a 36-hole event hosted this weekend at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Buffs used a 12-over par 296, matching the fourth best team score in the field, on the second day to finish 30-over par 598.
