That's great news. Very athletic family. Her brother, Beau, is a basketball player for Santa Clara.
Here's a bit from his Santa Clara bio: Parents are Bruce and Becky Gamble … Father is a three-time All-American skier at Colorado and mother was an All-American in tennis at Texas … Has one sister, Berkley, 16.
Welcome to the Buffs, Berkley!
Yes Beau was a great point guard for Fairview, helped lead the knights to an undefeated regular season my junior year. Berkley worked great with current buff Annie Stuller last year at fairview so it will be great to see them together again. I might add she is currently only a junior, none the less a great grab for the Buffs i know she was getting looks from a lot of good soccer schools.
So she's a 2012 commit? Cool. That's a big early verbal for the program.
Wow... Talk about some genes!
lame...dude...you guys are way removed from HS aren't you??...besides who cares about either school?
Anyway, this is great. I love Hempen, and I hope that he continues his success. CU got a great steal by hiring him...I just hope we can keep him at CU. I know our boosters concentrate on football, but if had millions of dollars, I would specifically give Hempen and Wetmore some money for the outstanding work they do.
Bummer. Was it because of Sacky's anti-fairview campaign? No one wants to lose any D1 talent because of that guy.
Please delete this it is false information!!!
I changed the thread title. We don't generally delete threads.
Too bad that Berkley decided to go elsewhere. There were several reports and tweets that the original post was responding to. I think everyone has gotten the message now.
And it is labeled as such.
Just to be clear. This was not an incorrect report. She originally committed to the Buffs but changed her commitment after Washington "offered her a better scholarship." I didnt know we had to wait around for someone to completely make their mind up before we are allowed to report information.
No one blames you. If they you do it again, you get stuck in a room with BCS for 3 hours.
