I personally thought he was one of, if not the best player on the defense last year. Sucks that he struggled with injuries, but with those numbers I see a team using a mid-late round draft pick on him... or at the very least picking him up as a free agent.
A lot of times a guy is better off being undrafted than getting picked up in the late rounds. With these kind of numbers and as well as he played last year when healthy he will have teams interested in him. As an UFA he will have the opportunity to select the team that he feels best fits his skills and has the best opportunity for him to catch on. As a late round draft choice he may be stuck in a situation where they just want him for insurance in case some other guy doesn't come back from an injury or sign.
As a FA he has a chance to actually make more money than a late round choice as well.

So are those legit numbers?Go Burney - I always thought he at least looked like an NFLer, now he has the measurables. Eat it NFL Combine. That 4.38 is better than most of the DBs that got invited.
I can run a 4.28

Hopefully Burney kills it tonight with this lady-of-the-night. He deserves it after today's performance

Other than Burney, no one was all that impressive except for Marcus Burton. Someone's going to give him a shot in the NFL (maybe at fullback, though). I was a bit surprised that Riar didn't try to improve on his Combine numbers in the bench and/or 40.
