From Fedora's Wikipedia page, birthplace "College Station, Texas." So he had advanced knowledge that he didn't care to return there.

North Carolina will be North Carolina in football. Plenty of mid-tier bowls in the South and an occasional Chick-Fil-A in his future. He's guaranteed Duke on the schedule every year and a few other teams are down at the moment. Safe, though he could've gone much higher profile and with lots more money if he was interested in talking with Aggy or UCLA.
 
Sounds like aggy may have screwed up by lowballing Sumlin and stringing along Fedora to the point where they will get neither.

Plus the allure of the SEC shouldn't be enough to get Patterson or Briles to leave a conference they're both going to keep being a bowl team in. Add to that Gary Kubiak is winning in the NFL so he won't be looking for work. Maybe try to reunite Troy Calhoun with his old coordinator?
 
Pretty sure I heard Fedora is from College Station originally or some ****. That true? If so, seems like he would have made alot of sense. That and he is a wanted candidate nationally.

Calhoun interviewed for the job. Could happen.
 
Helfich's name has popped up for ASU :lol: clearly he has to do with Oregon's success in his stint as "OC".
 
Helfrich at ASU would be a hoot...

Jim McElwain, a name many arond these parts wanted after idot boy was released, has surfaced as the front runner at Memphis.

Sumlin's name popping up at Illinois...as mentioned by others Calhoun m ay be looking at aTm, June Jones may be back in the running at ASU.
 
Yeah, sounds like there is a lot of smoke with June Jones to ASU.

Adrian Klemm could be a monster recruiter for ASU in southern California.
