Recent history teaches us that this is true...
HaLk Montana St 10-19
Embree @ Hawaii 17-34
I'm more worried about Arky St or whatever FCS team we play the week after than I am about CSU.
you mean the 6th best FBS team in the country? yeah i am too, the FBS team that beat us last year went 6-5.
We're definitely going to win 4.25 games this fall. Book it.
Hey now it was 8th. Lost in Second Round of FCS Playoffs. Don't need to worry any more than necessary . But yeah, in all seriousness, they likely are better than CSU. We're probably in for a shootout here. Lost 49-27 at Ole Miss last year.
For other comparison, Eastern Washington went 6-5 in 2008 (narrow win)
Montana State went to the FCS Quarterfinals in 2006, going 8-5
I hate to bring it up, but GB's first game was that horrific ass-thrashing to the sheep.
The last coach to not open up with an embarrassing loss was Skippy.
Apparently Skippy is the only coach since Bunny Oakes in 1935 to not lose his opener. There have been some embarrassing stinkers, too.
Even Skippy couldn't completely ***k up that well oiled machine he inherited. That was a good team. Will we ever see teams like that again?
All I gotta say is, this s*it better not happen this year! Embarrassing to look at our linemen standing there with their d*cks in their hands!
