i think he's doing just fine..
**** Corso. Him and Holtz should both be put out to pasture permenantly.
Not sure what Herbie's chuckle was all about when he suggested nebraska was gonna go down to Boulder and take care of business. Must have been an inside joke with Fowler.
I don't watch gameday much because most announcers are just idots with a microphone - what could be worse? But I did catch, last week, Corso going on some tangent and then just stopped, changed the subject and made a short point, and stopped talking. It's sad to see, and they should take him off until his recovery is complete.
But I did find Corso entertaining, where Holtz is just a complete homer moron. And they give him soliloquies! Amazing.
Maybe if he talked about the ****ers more u would like it. The guy had a stroke and he is doing his best. Punkass fuskers, sorry u arent what u used to be. Join the club.
**** herbie, whose jock is he gonna be on when Tebow is done? Florida isnt what they were and I think Texas could beat the piss outta them.
Today is the roughest I've ever seen Corso. Maybe he's just having a bad day.
He's definitely struggling at times. But he's still good at what he does. Corso is not hurting the bottom line at ESPN.
And besides, if the other guys have to pick him up a bit sometimes these days, so be it. I hope that virtues like loyalty, friendship, respect and compassion still mean something these days (even in the business world).
Hey **** you! This has nothing to do with the H U S K E R S, it has to do with a guy who is obviously having some issues and needs to do some more therapy before he can come back. I enjoy College Gameday and Corso is usually included. You think I care what you think of me? I know your upset Oprah is going off of the air, but clean the sand out of your vagina, eat some chocolate, and shut up.
Well you can tell Herbstreit steps in and finishes things for him at times. He is definately having a rough day today though. :sad1:
Since when did being a sports reporter require a person to be in full posession of their faculties? Gameday is not a mission critical operation. If it helps keep him going, Corso should stay on.
I know Corso makes some mistakes but he still brings enough juice to make this the best pre-football game show on in the country, if anyone needs to go it is May/Holtz, either those two need to go to blows or move on, I am sick of the anticipation of a school yard fight only to never materialize.
 I've noticed the tension there as well. Both are dip****s that I can't stand.
I don't have a problem with Corso. His stroke clearly wasn't as serious as Dick Clark's so he rehabbed it much better. I think they'll continue the trend each season now of slowly giving Desmond Howard more airtime and maybe only bringing Corso in for the final segment or doing some pre-recorded things. But he's still watchable, which Holtz has never been.
Cold hearted bastard!
Hopefully we don't have to sit though a Beano Cook like experience again.
Oh thats not nice lol. I could give a **** what u think jackass. Like we are supposed to get along all the time when your kind is hated here, yeah thats gonna work. Leave Lee alone, if his performance bothers you, then dont ****ing watch. Does he come critique your job? I didnt think so and **** you punkass fusker.
I LOVE BEANO..
He's on the radio still..
Is Powlus still going for those 3 Heisman trophies?
It was two..
It was only 2? Sorry, I thought it was 3.....
I agree, Corso is struggling, but I don't watch him so much for the analysis- I actually think he's pretty funny and he brings energy. Give the guy a shot to come back next year.
Holtz holds no value to me. May is OK. I would like to see Jessie Palmer in studio with May. While Palmer isn't spot on with some of the Buffs analysis, I generally enjoy listening to him.
As much as I hate to say this :smile2:, I agree with BRI. This wasn't about the fuskers, Corso just doesn't have it. Sure he's still entertaining (he always seemed a bit disjointed anyway), and yeah, the rest of the cast are morons, but it's on the pitiful side. I'd prefer he recovered fully before coming back but then, I really don't watch those goofs much anyway.
the entire show is about fun. love of the game. they are there to entertain a crowd.
i dont know why this is so friggin difficult for some people to grasp.
lee is doing just fine in his role. give the guy a break. yea, he is not perfect but, look at it this way. if corso says something dumb or loses his train of thought, he can blame it on a stroke. what do the other dumbasses blame it on when they do the same damn things?
so many people get so bent out of shape over small stuff on a college football saturday that i wonder why they even bother to watch stuff if it makes them so damn miserable to do so.
"fowler didnt talk about CU once today!!! "
"corso never picks my team!!! "
"corso picked us to win, we are doomed!!! "
"herbie is a big ten hack!!! "
that being said, lou holtz blows donkey balls because he does not talk about CU, never picks CU to win, if he does we are doomed and he is a big 10 hack. he also slobbers all over the damn place and is on notre dames ****!!!!
I shudder to think what ESPN would do if they got rid of Corso. They make the worst hires possible.
say hello to lou holtz. rep says he will be his replacement.
God ****** I said I didn't want to think about it!!!
I like Corso on gameday.
I like Corso too but you can definitely tell he's not the same this year. But I think he's doing fine considering what he went thru and I'm glad to see that they're keeping on the there.
