Rosters have been announced for The Show, the Colorado HS Basketball All-Star game. It will be held at 3pm on April 6th at the Pepsi Center, before the Nuggets game that night.

The White Team will be lead by Dom Collier, and also features his Denver East teammate Tyree Robinson, along with Chase Foster and Jordan Scott. The Blue Team will likely be the favorite, led by Josh Perkins, but also featuring CSU signee Carlton Hurst, 2014 CU target Jeremiah Paige, and 2016 super prospect De'Ron Davis, who is only the 2nd freshman to appear in the game (Collier was the first). The one notable omission I see is Ronnie Harrell, a 2014 prospect from Denver East.

    Better teammates poll:

    1. Emannuelle Chriqui and Malin Akerman

    2. Collier and Perkins

I really don't want both of them.

That would give us Booker, Collier, Perkins, Talton, Stalzer, Hopkins, Fletcher, Jenkins, Johnson, Thomas, Gordon, Scott, and an as of yet unkown 14 recruit.

I guess I want too see our 3 '14 commits come from Perkins, 6'6-6'7 Small foward type and another 6'7-6'10 foward. I really like tall lineups.

Yeah. It would suck to have two top 50 recruits who get tons of media attention in the state...

    Elite PG's are overrated anyway...

You can only play one at a time. I'm betting Tad will only take one of them.

If they both want to come, we'll take them without hesitation. They complement each other well and would be a really dynamic backcourt.

Playing 2 PG's is a strategy lots of coaches use to end games for ball control and making sure things are executed.

They are different players and both are coveted here. One of the most ridiculous posts I have read in 2013 actually.

Coveted on this board. I guarantee they are not targets 1 and 1a.

Yeah because this board has such a good track record of not being completely wrong.

I was really impressed with Harrell when I saw East play in the Elite 8 game. Good size, can handle the ball, there is zero chance he doesn't deserve to be in the show. He was the most impressive East player a week ago.

What do you think about them at games and practices? Do you think there is more interest in CU from Dom and Perkins than the coaches have in them? Do you think a big man is their target? What are you hearing, spill the beans.

Interesting. So you weren't as impressed with Collier during that one?

I probably had irrationally high expectations from what I had read about him, it was my first time seeing him in person. But he wasn't heads and tails the best player on the court, I guess I expected to be awed, I wasn't.

Harrell seemed like the kid on the court that in a couple years would be the best. He's really still figuring out his body, (I guess he has grown 6 inches in a year) is raw and isn't nearly as polished as Collier. On one play he so badly misjudged a rebound and jumped a good foot and a half too high. It just seemed like he could be a really good get.

Would have liked to have seen TreShawn Wilford.

A couple buddies of mine saw him in the title run against both East and Regis and wonder how he slipped thru? Kid has signed with UCCS. I believe you can transfer to D1 with no penalty from there. Wonder if you can void the NLI as well? Is he good enough?

He was fun to watch in that state game especially. Its such a small sample size though that he is not scholarship worthy at this point. Maybe a PWO and have him earn it, but he out played dom in that game no question.

Wilford had two big plays, but didn't do much else. On both plays, he was moving to his right, then was able to change direction on a quick spin to his left and lay the ball in. The second came after a beautiful behind the back pass from Perkins and may have been the highlight of the game. I didn't see the state championship game, but I'm guessing Collier's hand injury had something to do with it.

Players can transfer down (CU to UCCS for example) without having to sit out but the only time you can transfer up with out sitting out is either coming from a JC or in those rare cases where the NCAA grants a specific release such as a program closing down or going into severe sanctions.

If the kid never officially enrolls in classes at the school then the signed school can release him from his LOI without him having to sit out. He can also sit out a full year and then go to the school of his choice without it costing him any of his 5 to play 4 and do so without the approval of the original signing school.

From the little I saw of him in the tourney he is a good player but I don't think he is a high D1 prospect and certainly not in the class of talent that Tad in bringing in to CU. It would be nice to have him as a WO to provide practice competition but I don't think he would ever get significant PT as a Buff.
