Colorado Loses To California, 57-50

On January 12th in hostile territory, the Buffaloes fell to the Golden Bears, 57-50, in conference play. Colorado was competitive throughout, and actually up at the half 29-22. But California came out stronger in the second, and came back for the win.
A key stat in regard to the game: A year ago, Colorado won 89-72.
Colorado let this one slip away while being overpowered in turnover margin and outplayed in offensive rebounding.

Offensive rebounding was a big problem for Colorado as California chalked up nine offensive boards to eight. The Buffaloes gave the ball away 17 times to eight for the Golden Bears. Colorado struggled with only 50 points compared to its 70.6 average this season.
Austin Dufault did his best to keep the Buffaloes in it with 19 points in 33 minutes. Andre Roberson added 14 rebounds.
