Colorado vs Oregon State

From what I saw Colorado played hard until game was over. Hire the right guy and build it right. OSU has done that. You get players that buy in and establish identity. Impressed with the effort. Your fan base must be patient. Colorado can and will be successful. Sanford has them working hard. Do not expect to much. Good luck.
I don’t think most people on these sites are faulting player’s effort. In fact, for the most part, I think we all laud the players who have stayed and worked hard in the face of abject awfulness. I loved seeing them able to truly enjoy one great finish and fans storming the field. That’s just not going to happen much-if at all—for the foreseeable future, obviously.

BUT….

We are a LONG ways away…. OSU has taken—what—three to four years building to where they are… and they are good, but only top third of the PAC12, at best.

I assume CU may be three to four years off… we need a major influx of talent that follows from SOME on-field success, hope, and coaching stability.

That’s not a quick fix, as I see it.

On a positive note from this game, I had my eyes opened on Jayle Stacks as a guy who had a role on a winning CU football team. He looked so much better than any other time I've seen him play.
