I can indeed verify this is true.
Bob Devaney and Tom Osborne and most of that coaching staff made a deal with the devil from 1970-2001 and it got them a bunch of Titles and victories and beat downs on lowly teams, but the devil came to pay up that fateful day in Boulder, 62-36
