Yeah, it was EB. He called him “Marquesha.” Houston’s dad jumped in the paper complaining about the treatment. EB made the distinction between playing hurt and being injured. Media made a lot of hay about it.
As a pointless side note: this became a hot button issue between my father and me. He was in the EB runs off the talent camp. I argued that if Houston was a generational talent, how come nothing happened when he went to CSU. He never conceded the point.
And, the only operative provision in the agreement with Nike is that Coach Prime can't wear attire from a competitor, not generic clothes without a trademark.
What does this mean?

CU: pays 750k buyout. Gets 1 week of coaching. That feels right.
Working under the assumption that CU learned its lesson from the MacIntyre fiasco you would have to assume that Lewis' CU contract, if it's even been signed, would include a similar or higher buyout clause, no?
I'm sure RG can be trusted.
Nothing about Lewis at all on their 247 board. Seem to be focused on Tyson Helton or JaMarcus Shephard or some unknown sitting ACC coach.
A $15m buyout for Prime seems like a lesson learned. They probably have a $1.5-$1.75m investment into Lewis for this first season (buyout included) so I assume they would require some compensation.
Biggest issue to me is that Prime has clearly identified a specific offense he wants, and would have to go a completely different direction
