CU/NU

The schedule is the best possible situation for us in that they have a G5 staff trying to change everything on a bad team, and we get them on the 2nd game of the regime before they can get their feet under them (playing them at the end of the year would have been harder). Having the same staff does help them run more efficient, but it should not be enough player wise. If they come out and beat us, then shame on Mac in his 6th year for not having a now veteran team with a pretty much 3rd year QB ready to go kick an old rivals ASS. One thing that I am worried about is the CROWD!!! It will be similar if not better than Michigan was in 2016, and not as many of our guys played in that game, so hopefully we can handle it. Playing in Mile High the week before will help in basically handling the same size and scope of stadium, but it is not the same as 90,000 idiots yelling. It needs to be a WIN. Go Buffs!!!

We're the only P5 they play OOC, but their other games are against Akron and Troy (who could easily walk into Lincoln and hand Frosty a pretty ugly L early in his tenure at NU). The only difference between this and that game is that this will undoubtedly be on ESPN or FOX, 4Bienemy. Their crowds will not be better than Ann Arbor.....especially given Michigan was a top 5 IIRC team when we went in there. NU may win six games if everything goes well for them.

Tanner Lee declared for the NFL draft. You have to believe Frost and his offense probably had something to do with that.

Tanner threw if for 3,000 yards last season including a 430 yard winning performance against a pretty solid Purdue team, Frost's system requires a guy who can run and throw the ball through; Tanner was an an inept runner as they come. Not sure who replaces him, but I will take this as a positive. Now watch them roll out some Khalil Tate clone come game day.
