CUBuffs.com: 23 Buffs Set for NCAA West Prelims (May 25-27, 2017)

Still here- it's Ms. Rajon O'Quinn. Unfortunately, looks like she couldn't equal her season's best, and is out of the competition. Still a decent performance for her, as it looks like she's finishing in a tie for 26th, so pretty much equal to her regional ranking.
I just saw the first name and assumed it was a guy, my mistake.

Nick Harris finishes in 6th and misses out on the final qualifying spot by a half a second. Almost a great comeback by him. Fell behind everybody early, had someone fall right in front of him, and came back into AQ position, just to get passed near the finish line. Great effort though.

Eriana Henderson up next in the 400m hurdles. After the race, I have to step away for a few minutes, but will be back to cover more events.

Jaron Thomas finishes 8th in heat 3 of the men's 400m hurdles and does not advance.

Boreman currently in 4th. Top 3 in each heat and then the next 3 best times advance to the NCAAs.

Boreman pulls ahead for 3rd place in the heat and qualifies for the championships.

The last CU competitor of the night is Sage Hurta in heat 3 coming up in a few minutes

4 laps to go and she is currently in 6th, but just a few feet behind the leader

They're starting to separate and Sage is in 2nd place with about 800m to go

The top 3 are starting to build a lead on everyone else, which is all that they need to advance

Emma Coburn just ran a great race. Although once again finishing 4th, she JUST missed breaking her own American Record, set in the Olympics. She just ran 9:07.96 in Eugene, while her record is 9:07.63. With this still being relatively early season, VERY good result for her. (~7 post-race Interview available at .)

And, found ~ 3 minute interview, from yesterday, of 10K qualifiers Erin Clark and Makena Morley - http://www.flotrack.org/video/12070...morley-beat-the-heat-to-make-nationals-in-10k

The first Buff competing in tonight's action will be Dani Jones in heat 2 of the women's 1500m in about 45 minutes.
