BOULDER - Colorado's tennis team will host in-state rival Colorado State on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the CU South Campus Tennis Complex.

The Buffs bring a 4-6 record into Saturday's match and are led by junior Nuria Ormeño Ruiz, who is the top-ranked player in the Mountain Region. She carries a 17-5 record and is 2-0 at the team's No. 1 position.

CSU is 3-6 this season and is winless against Division I competition, earning victories against Division II's CSU-Pueblo and Metro State, and Division III's Colorado College.

CU is 30-0 all-time against the Rams.

Best of wishes to the tennis team! Looks like the 1st outdoor home match of the year- sure they'll enjoy the sunshine and (predicted) mid 60 degree temps.

(I went to a couple matches last year. Fun sport to see live and in person.)

Note- Looks like Buffs have already won the doubles point. (Competively, a disappointment that, per live scoring, CSU didn't even field a team for #3 doubles, and they've had to forfeit #6 singles.)

Buffs are currently up 5 matches to 0, so have clinched the overall win, so are now evidently 31-0 all time against the Rams in women's tennis.
