STOCKTON, Calif. — The University of Colorado men's golf team rode the proverbial rollercoaster here Tuesday, but at the end of the day, the Buffaloes posted the second-best score in moving up a notch into a tie for sixth through two rounds of the NCAA West/Stockton Regional. No. 42 Colorado recorded a 6-under par 282 score, but things didn't start off well. At one point, the Buffs were 2-over and had slipped from a tie for seventh into one for 11th in the 13 team field. But a strong back nine, including playing the last three holes at 4-under, thrusted CU up into a tie for sixth with a 4-under 572 total through 36 holes, one spot back of the last qualifying spot for the NCAA Championship Finals later this month.
