Game Thread - Men's bball in Knoxville to play #12 Tennessee (Tuesday, 12/8, 4:00 PM MT)

bad game between two good teams, will just chalk it up to that

excited for this team to continue to grow together, for Tad to tighten his rotation, and for us to make some noise in conference

Not enough energy by the Buffs. Started with Wright IMO. Battey and Schwartz looked terrible. Couldn't recover from the bad start. Execution in final 2 minutes was atrocious, we had no idea what to do.

Turnovers are a huge part of the story for any team, but that's definitively been the biggest part of the story for this team through 3 games.

Hardly any TOs all night against SD, in control of the whole game.

A lot of turnovers early against K-State, fall behind, ~25 minute stretch in the middle of the game with no TOs where they took control.

23 TOs tonight

Unacceptable when we started 2 point guards.

Checking game stats, we were -8 on turnovers and +1 on OReb. That's 7 fewer possessions.

Throw in that they got to the line more and shot better. Add in that a bunch of our turnovers were steals - much worse than travels and other TOs that stop play since they lead to run outs.

Should have lost by 20. I'm actually impressed that we can play that bad on the road against a top 15 team and still have a chance in the final game segment.
