Game thread - NIT- Basketball at Texas (Wednesday, 3/27, 7:00 PM MT)

If we fight a little bit more back into this, the experimental foul rules are gonna screw us with the foul reset at ten minutes.

Pretty much everything was garbage in the first half, and we don’t deserve to win because of that, but god damn how many wide open shots have we missed in this second half.

This team needs to head to the barn for the summer. Get healthy, get stronger, focus on a huge 2019-20. Like this team a whole lot, they turned the season around and should be proud. Bey needs 10 pounds of good muscle.

Bey may not even be back.

Can't figure out if we caught Texas on one of their really good nights (they did beat some good teams NC, Ks St, Purdue, etc.) or are we just making it look easy for Texas. At least the guys shouldn't be complacent this off season after a humbling game to finish out. And how bad did we miss Walton in some games this season with our thin front line.

I believe the correct answer is yes

Bey may not even be back.

Bey is not even close to ready for NBA!
He and Kin are both likely 4 year players
Plus they love to play together
Kuntz is gonna beat Gatling out of that 5th starting spot. Gatling and Walton will be first two guys off bench to create inside-outside offense. Lucas, Strating, and Parquet are roll guys.

Love this team, but they are physically beat to sh*t. Kin twisted both ankles a game or two ago. Bey almost blew his knee. Gatling has bad ankles. Parquet is not in sharp game shape. Lucas is ice cold! Only two rock solid players are Schwartz and Kuntz, both of whom I think have really solid futures. We just ran out of gas, but when healthy, older, and stronger we will be great. Goal should be PAC12 Champs. Hope they at least play hard second half.

Vintage CU excuse meter when being blown-out on the road. Is this Neil Woelk?

Dude, you realize Bey is projected as a potential lottery pick next year, right?

No way in he'll he's here as a senior my man.

I really like the athleticism of Dombek at 6'11". Can't see how he doesn't eat Stratings minutes.

Agree that if he can continue his trajectory, he's in that conversation.

He'd do himself a serious disservice by declaring this year, tho. Defense and mid-range shot are not there.

Well this game sucked. Still crazy excited for next year.

Lousy performance is going to bring out some trolls who only show up when things go bad. Ignore them.
