We’re always going to have some younger coaches. I actually like Da Prato because he’s an active recruiter who has done the job at a lower level along with being a ST Coordinator so he’d assist there. I wouldn’t want his resume for DL or anything but think he’d be good value at TE.

Since CU does not use a TE for 96.8% of it’s offense then he better be a top shelf recruiter. Color me skeptical.

Let's not assume that we'll have the same offense next year. That line of thought will make me grumpy. :)

Who is Michael Marquez? That dude that transfered out of CU after one year on the bench?
No, a back who played from 84 through 88. Solid four-year contributor and two-year starter. He was a member of McCartney's huge Colorado class that he credits for changing the system.

So are you jesting about his kid being the best prep QB in Colorado?

Not at all. I've watched a lot of high school football and feel that he is the best high school quarterback that I have seen. And yes, I have seen Valor.
I watched them square off and Marquez is a fine athlete and I agree. But I wouldn't take him as a P5 QB, and I am happy to have Stenstrom. There's a difference.

Read harbaugh flew out to ol miss to get some transfers
