Thanks for the link Dallas.
I'm a little disappointed that Coach Hawk was "pressing flesh" on his tour. Admittedly, I don't know what "pressing flesh" means, but it sure doesn't sound appropriate.
You are being sarcastic, right?
You are being sarcastic, right?:wow:
No, I'm trying to find out if Walrus was tossing around some really dry humor, or if he really doesn't know what that old adage means.
Walrus, my question to you still stands.
While we wait 87, why don't you go pop a Ludens. Yer soundin' a little raspy.
It seems as though I've been explaining myself a lot lately.
Another one of my (apparently) failed attempts at humor. I recognize that "pressing flesh" means shaking hands.
However, the term sounds disgusting to me, and if I didn't know better I would guess it was another reference to a "fruitbowl" or perhaps coitus.
I suppose the short quip has a built-in disgust factor since (if I remember right) it was born from politics/politicians.
"Walrus was tossing around..." Admittedly I don't know what this means, but it sounds disgusting.
I thought it was funny...
Pressing the flesh:
The Xerox machine at the office doesn't support that kind of weight.
Separate names with a comma.
