Judging by his last few performances in road games, my guess is that they'd have gotten blow out. See Toledo - very similar..
CU played competitively for the most part. They actually did a good job defensively, until Moniz started running the ball. They were in the game until the beginning of the fourth quarter and the offensive line totally collapsed. Tyler Hansen has to take part of the blame for that. CU pressured Moniz pretty good in the first quarter, but he started making plays.
Still, offensive line and running game were the biggest disappointment, but this is the way it is many times in coaching staff first games. As bad as things seem, not all hope is lost on this season.
