Say Simas gets his grades in order during the fall and becomes eligable. Does he get to play in a bowl game if the game happens to be in January? How does his suspension work, is it for a semester, a full season or what?

I can't see Hawk rewarding him when there are so many kids that got grades in the first place that deserve to play.

Kaota is redshirting, so they would not break the redshirt for a bowl game, even if they could (save the MNC). Simas already redshirted, and has just blown a season, so I could see that the might let him play if he has been a team player during practices and we have a shortage of good WR's for a bowl game.
