Awesome news, isn't it?
You two, keep your day jobs...
I thought AllBuffs was their day job.
You have to love what you do.
I'm actually kind of shocked that I haven't seen a boydbuff thread titled "So we beat Kansas - who do we sign this weekend?"
Damn, you just took the excitement out of that thread idea I had.
Does Witherspoon take us to 17 commits already? If so aren't we hearing the final number is only like 19-20? if that is the case we only have 2-3 left (e.g. the twins would take up our last schollies or 2 more Jucos, or…).
Seems like we are still in on quite a few guys we could use so I am not sure how this is going to play out. We are going to have to turn down guys we want and need? I wonder what HCMM & Co are communicating to our current commits and to those we really want. Is he saying we have room for 1 WR and 1-2 Juco linemen and the first to commit are in?
He would make 16 and Bennion won't count towards this year because of the mission.
So we have 3-4 left. That is not many for how many holes we still need to plug. I wonder if HCMM is going to be calling some of our early commits who are undersized or not ready yet to see if they are open to greyshirting in order to keep some spots open for some of the guys we are still in on.
I see it more likely for HCMM to give them the option of greyshirting. Also keep in mind that we're only 1 week into the offseason and we've already had two spots open up with Dorman and Richardson. I could see us taking a few more than 20.
We only have 15 commits (Bennion doesn't count) and I thought the # that came out last week was 21?
Either way, we're not really after that many recruits so I'm sure it'll work out.
It's not the 25 we have to worry about, it's the 85.
