Karl Dorrell officially named Colorado HC

Alabama turns over coordinators every year and keeps on rolling. I don't buy a $19.5m deal over 5 years. If they paid that, they are nuts.

No, they are not nuts. They can well afford pay that kind of money because it buys national championships. Money well spent if the keep winning.

Screw all of you!!!

Hire Chev today ($2 million with incentives), no players will leave! All the planning from last year can be continued at about 95% efficiency. Keep all the current coaches that are still here and give pay raises Chev can have a bunch of money to hire an OC. High Risk and High Reward, but the other options are far more chaotic from a player, culture, and continuity standpoint.

You have all had your SARK wishes for the past 48 hours and it **** on you, so now please support the only true Buff that wants to lead your team!!!

Come on

Why was Mora so horrible at UCLA?
He actually wasn't horrible.

He has been a solid recruiter with recruiting classes consistently in the top 20 nationally and one as high as 7 in the nation, deep Boulder roots and and has an overall winning record as a head coach. This was at a time when FuCLA's facilities were pretty terrible.

Dude went 46-30 as HC at FuCLA, took his team to a bowl game almost every year. Right now as a CU fan I'd take that run of success. If he's learned anything from his stint in LA then it's possible he could do even better in Boulder. The guy is only 2 seasons removed from coaching, so his recruiting contacts are likely still active.

247 said Sarkisian got 5 years/19.5m to stay. If that's accurate, this sport is broken.
Sounds like they matched our offer. I cant believe they can pay that for an assistant. The old hippies in Boulder should take note of how much revenue a successful football program generates.

RG didn't have to only target 2 legitimate candidates. As we agreed at the start, there are 130 P5 coordinators out there he could have inquired about. He chose to talk with one P5 coordinator, two disappointing retreads, a 13 year MWC coach, an NFL OC, and the in-house option. He and LC are not absolved from this **** show.
did you and RG agree on that or did you type that online? Lol

Crazy knee jerk reaction. We’re talking about an AD who just got abandoned by his HC in February. Could you blame him for wanting a safe option who had been a model of consistency? Also, who did you think we were going to get in mid February?

crazy to see people ripping on RG, he’s done a great job for us.

A few more exclamation points and I'm convinced,,,,

With his recruits he was horrible.

Bingo..

Maybe we can out-pay a Big 12 program for an assistant coach, said assistant being our head coach?
