Ladies and gentlemen, the Prime effect

The way I see it, as I've talked about before, is that all of it drives attention and that's hugely positive, even when it's negative stories, as long as it's not a scandal.

It's like in pro sports coverage. Every time there's a way to include the Yankees, Lakers or Cowboys in a story then they will - even putting a tenuous connection with those teams into the headline instead of highlighting the main story. Because they get ratings and clicks.

Their fan followings are huge, but dwarfed by the number of fans of other teams that can't stand them and root for their failure while getting pissed off at their every success. That's the territory that Coach Prime has led CU into. A story on Prime CU draws more attention than a Notre Dame story these days.

Of course we have media folks lining up to build their careers as lovers, haters or insiders. Of course we have publishers and producers in their strategy meetings clamoring for more Prime CU content. This is the context of our current reality. Fun times.
agree 100% that CU and DS are a subject of national interest and that's going to get a lot of parties talking both positive and negative.

agree to a point that "all advertising is good" (except scandals), but only to a point.

I do think there's a threshold when negative media from credible sources can impact perception, especially if it's done in a mocking way. e.g. I thought the SNL skit had potential to be damaging to the atmosphere around CU that HCDS was creating (I also think his response to it was about as perfect as it could be).

Fortunately, anyone who has formed an unfair perception only has to talk to Coach Prime and take a look around. It's an open door and ain't hard to find.

I'm just laughing that they are talking smack about recruiting classes. If the recruiting class is in the 60s come February, then flame away, but talking smack in November about the recruiting rankings is nuts

Daniel Kannell has that “didn’t get a call back” feel to his rants. Has a profile pic of his personal peak in life.

The PAC12, and CU’s schedule was surprisingly difficult (no moral victory digging). To go from a 1-11 team - that got boat raced by AFA, amongst mostly everyone else…and eeked a last minute win against Cal, to a team that was mostly competitive in all but 2.5 games, one of those being a CFP contender - is pretty good considering a complete burn down and build up of the program in about 8 months time.

Comparing a G5 school and Northwestern is silly. Goes to show you that Fitz was most likely a problem than not at NW.

After being with the team since 2020, and not making much noise aside from being a legacy player, I am sad/not sad to see Furia move on. Literally the only gamer TE that the Buffs had prior to this season was Brady Russell, who was a walk-on in the beginning. Just goes to show that Mel Tucker’s era was exciting but fruitless at the end of the day. Then to get recruited over, internally, by a walk-on WR turned TE project in the 11th hour…

Daniel Kannell should stick to beat-writing for the Seminoles unofficial fan FB site.

I’m actively sunning my perineum and eating raw elk meat with porn in the background to recover what’s already been lost. Low T spreads like wildfire and you can’t be too careful
But where is the primal fire in the background?

ironic SI gives Deion this honor when I’m always seeing click bait hit pieces from whatever the **** the local CU/Colorado micro site affiliated with them is

❤️ 🔥

as much as I despise Jerry Jones and his team, I'm 100% behind HCDS exploiting his relationships to fund NIL -- that's going to be even more impactful than him using his relationships to get rap stars and retired players hanging out in Boulder
Between the legitimate NIL opportunities that come with playing for Prime and the wealthy connections he has, there’s honestly no reason why CU shouldn’t be able to compete with any program in the country in the NIL space… If Prime wants to
