The comments are as classic as the letter.
I will say that the Oregon fans in Boulder this year seemed pretty tame. BUT... I'll also say, I don't think I saw a single Oregon fan over the age of 40. All of a sudden, I see the "O" on cars all over Denver - you can definitely tell they are the "hot" team to follow right now. Ah, I remember the days when CU was the hot team to follow...
This is what happens when your team enjoys sudden, unexpected, meteoric success. You get a lot of t-shirt fans.
OTOH - I sit in an area of the stadium where a lot of players parents sit. Nothing annoys me more than having somebody who is only there because his/her son got a scholarship to play football tell me that I'm not in a position to voice my opinion about the level of play on the field. Hey, I've been coming to these games since I was four years old. I'm a graduate of CU and I spend a lot of money at this University. After your kid is gone, you will be, too. I'll still be here.
That sounds like fans for any team at any game
**** you I'm a professional fan. You don't know ****.
My first thought as well. It was his first time in the stands. It's who we are...
That guy should probably stay off the Oregon boards...
Welcome to football fans. He should go to our political forum.
And the down fall of Oregon Football begins.

That former player is acting like a pretentious bitch. He actually mentioned that he used to remark that the players were treated like slaves...ugh.
Maybe attend a better academic institution, and after getting your degree, you wouldn't feel that way once your football career is over.
I read it. I think he could be describing U.S. voters in general. As for the "Spartacus" crap. . . that's just another entitled Millenial who needs to manufacture some hardship in his unearned status as a college graduate.
That reminds me of the Arizona fan who got arrested a couple rows behind me
And, just to keep it interesting, it turns out that both notes are from walk-ons.
Wait...I'm a little confused here. In the context of this thread is an obnoxious and entitled student fanbase a good thing or a bad thing? I miss ours...
