Heston Paige seems to be all about CU after working out with McChesney as well
I can't wait to win the Big 8 again.
Regrettably, years of hard-wired fanatic-driven hate prevents some of us from being as grounded and forward-thinking as Duff. We have much to learn from him.
I tend to forget that so many in-staters end up with the dipshits in Lincoln when they could be helping us win football games. Or maybe I try to block all of it out.
Agree with McChesney. Utah sucks!
I don't think hating Nebraska should have anything to do with being a Colorado fan, just a general consensus of college football fans in general.
The guys on the team will never hate Nebraska like any of us old alums. The upcoming series will fuel our nostalgia and hate, but it won't be special to the guys on the field.
At this point it makes him look like an old man clinging to the past.
That's basically a requirement to being a buff fan
Sorry but I don't wear red and my son knows better than to wear it when he's here.
Everyone in my family/friends know my hate for red. My daughters boyfriend just found out recently. He has to park his red jeep around the corner.
Of course, we know an ol' timer like you (wasn't Abe Lincoln your HS commencement speaker?) speaks the TRUTH! Utah was our hated rival in the Rocky Mountain conference.
Oh wait! I meant Warren Harding, not Lincoln.
Obviously. I mean, if it was in front of the house you'd know when he had snuck in her window.
You, sir, should be knighted.
If hating Nebraska is wrong, I don't want to be right.
I know one (probably two if you count my 11 year old) future Buff that will hate those guys. If they ripped one of my arms off, I'd laugh as my blood ran black and gold, pick it up and beat the hell out of the Huskers with it.
We need to move on. My two-yr. old grandson can already say, "Mora sucks!"
Just like parents have enough love to go around when they have a new child, a Buff fan should have enough hate in his heart to continue despising Nebraska at historical levels while also having a blinding hate for the other 11 Pac-12 teams (+ Baylor and UT). Open your hearts, people. No need to close it off to the Nubs.
Yet we forgot about the Rumble in the Rockies....
Is that the Wyoming game? Kind of fun when we played them several years ago, but I don't really hate them.
Utah v Colorado.
In 1961 Utah defeated #8 Colorado 21-12 handing them their only loss that season. The two teams played every year going back to 1903
As long as the fuskers continue to insist on escaping that hellhole and moving to heaven on earth (Colorado) then contaminating it with red polyester and their stupid block letter insignia then the hatred should continue to flow towards them.
If they weren't so completely obnoxious I could have some empathy towards them coming from a state where a pile of feed corn run through a trough in a feedlot and processed by the cattle, later to be piled up to steam in the heat and cold constitutes a significant feature on the landscape and where producing meth in the back room of trailers is a major industry. Unfortunately their insistence on continuing to pretend like the fuskers are a significant team and on continually reminding us that they have no other topic upon which to dwell makes this impossible.
I didn't realize the series had a name. We should have some sort of trophy made with each year's winner transcribed onto it. Never hurts to make up something to add a little pageantry to a college rivalry. Helps promote it. Media eats that **** up.
I suggest that we play for the COUT Boot.
Or a trophy of Devil dog licking my balls.
It even has a damn Wiki page
