MSU basically wrote a blank check for his salary along with assistant coach salaries.
The 5th or 6th best program in the BIG is able to throw that kind of money around, but hey, at least we can all watch water polo and gymnastics on the conference owned Pac 12 network!

Nah I think this all happened over the last 4-5 hours. Im thinking MSU came in this evening with top 10 HC and AC pool money among other things.

Cool. I’m a young, aspiring strength and conditioning coach, and it was a guy like Mel that helped me work harder in hopes that maybe I could work for CU someday. I get that it’s a business, but damn the lack of integrity hurts.

Mel just took down his pinned tweet of him saying thanks to MSU but he is staying at CU. Good god. Really hope this recruiting class doesnt totally fall apart.
What recruiting class? The ones that have signed already and would have to either be let out of their LOI by the university or enter the transfer portal and burn a year of eligibility?
