Defending National Champion CU Men's Lax faces off against Va Tech in tonight's 2nd Semi-final game @ Chapman University - California. 7:30pm
Potentially able to watch live HERE

VT (18-0) - Southeastern Division Champion
CU (16-4) - Rocky Mountain Division Champion


Other semifinal game is Chapman University v. Grand Canyon University - Potential live feed HERE
(Both teams beat CU previously this season in Boulder)

Chapman - 16-3 - Lost to ASU 8-7 in Southwestern Division playoffs
Grand Canyon - 14-1 - Southwestern Division Champion (beat ASU 14-13)


This is the first meeting for each of these teams this season. Should be some good lacrosse tonight and here's to hoping that the Buffs come out and jump on Va Tech early. Go Buffs!!
 
Grand Canyon knocks off the hometown Chapman Panthers 11-8 in the first semifinal. Looks like the Lopers got out to an 8-2 lead and held off Chapman in the 4th to punch their ticket to the final. The CU game is expected to start in approximately 35 mins. There was a bit of a weather delay as the rain was coming down pretty heavily.
 
Buffs fell behind 7-4 in the 3rd, but closed out the quarter on a 5-0 run.. Now 9-7 Buffs in the 4th.
 
Step on their necks! Kick em when they're down! Punch them in the throatorballs!
 
Championship is set to start in about 25 mins.

CU (17-4) - Rocky Mountain Division Champs
GC (15-1) - Southwestern Division Champs

Head to Head - GC beat the Buffs in Boulder 18-15 on March 21st. Buffs gave up 7 goals in the 1st and 8 in the 4th in that loss... Going to have to play better D tonight in order to make it back to back championships, but it should still be a high scoring game tonight!
 
2-4 now Grand Canyon. Buffs have gotten a ton of shots but are just missing the cage...

Time of Possession is probably 3-1 in favor of the Buffs... Need to capitalize on their opportunities.
 
start of the 4th - Buffs get a quick penalty... GC puts in a goal to make it 7-5 GC... Buffs had a good 3rd period, but took a dumb penalty to start the 4th..
