I imagine you're well qualified to make judgements on idiocy.
Pot meet kettle.
We really need someone to get one of those Big blowup posters of a Frosty body with crying Jordan face on it for someone sitting right behind the fusker bench.
Hey guys, I know I haven’t posted a lot in awhile. But I am sure some of you know Dustyn Stortzum on Twitter. He currently is a journalism major at NU even though he grew up a life long CU fan and still is to this day. Don’t ask me the details on why he chose NU. But since tickets are going to be expensive, especially for an out of state college student, it would be awesome if someone could get in touch with him about tickets.
I would, but I am living in Montana and I am using tickets my dad was able to get through season tickets. His twitter handle is @dustynstortzum.
Shhh...this is a Husker home game. You just don't know it yet
I’m confused. What exactly are you asking here?
Can’t say I’m not surprised it sold out today. 53,613 people at $167 ticket average (I know not everyone paid this and the suites cost more and I didn’t include that) means CU is making right around 9 million alone in ticket sales and I didn’t even really include all the fees they’re charging either, that’s easily another 500K. I questioned the prices but man Rick George knew it would sell and they priced it as such, good for CU athletics.
There was good amount of bitching about the price of these tickets, but it's much better to have that money go to the University instead of the scalpers.
I understand the bitching, the prices were very high. But, it’s a prime game so if you wanna go you gotta pay. It’ll still go to the scalpers but at least this way it went to the university first before it’s insanely high on the secondary market.
As much "hate" and sh!t talk as there is. This is what makes college football awesome. Actual rivalries with rabid fanbases. It may end up getting a primetime spot with the way things are going.
hopefully a bunch more home games get sold out!....
The game time seems to be set along with a few other games. On Fox at 1:30.
Good. College football games should be 1:30 pm on saturdays.
CSU kickoff time just stinks!
Meh. On a Friday night, that’s not so awful. Gonna be a ****load of drunks at that game, though.
Kickoff at 1:30, probably halftime around 3:00, means that by 3:30-4:00 we should start seeing a parade of depressed fusker fans driving NE on I-76.
But Surveyor said we aren't a rival?
Texas And Oklahoma were more mutual rivals until Texas ruined the Big 12. Times have changed obviously. Its nonsense to say that now. We are intense border rivals if nothing else. Border states will always have a hatred for eachother. Its written in a rulebook somewhere im sure.
LOL, you're trending over at CornNation
Nobody pushed an old lady down steps. And nobody cheered about it. I dont think anyone could possibly believe that fake story good lord.
Bend the Knee, and we'll tell you most of the inside jokes.
We now have a vintage on the piss balloons people got a head start on.
You're new here.
Maybe true, but have I told you about Rusty?
Nice! I got quoted too! I’m glad they’re stalking us, i couldn’t even tell you what websites they frequent. The stadium could be all red but at least I get to go home to a house without 4 wheels, a wife that has all her teeth and isn’t my sister and best of all, my entire life isn’t obsessed with a football team that hasn’t won anything significant in 20+ years.
Not only is that a football team that hasn't won anything in 20+ years but what amazes me is that they are so attached to a team made up almost entirely of players from other states who only came to play football and almost all of whom will get out of there as soon as they can, never to return.
Their entire identity is wrapped up in a bunch of teenagers who couldn't care less about the state of Nebraska.
IDOT ALERT...IDOT ALERT
I know who breaks a sentence and puts ‘and’ after a period? Dumbass.
Someone who went to a non-AAU accredited institution, which does NOT include the following old Big12 schools (left out the Big10 and Pac12 because most of them are there, so I went with a lower academic conference):
Separate names with a comma.
