Northern Colorado Game Week (Official Thread)

There are differences, I agree, but I think you also might agree that CU's 3-0 start in 2008 is more impressive than CU's 3-0 start this year, and there are some very valid reasons for concern based upon what we've seen so far this year.
Wins against CSU, an FCS opponent (EWU), and #23 WVU in OT. Two of the wins were identical. The win over WVU vs TSU is obviously more impressive, but it is very similar overall.

Even though the 2008 team beat CSU by more points than this year, I will agree with you that the other win was similar if not identical. However, WVU ended the season ranked- what are the chances that you think that Texas State will be one of the top 25 teams at the end of the season?

Let's face it- those wins are drastically, drastically different.

Of course, none of that really matters. I am happy that the Buffs are 3-0, but I also think we've seen some things about which we should be concerned. We'll know Saturday by midnight if those concerns were well founded.

SIAP but looks like this was Zachary's last game due to concussions (he publicly posted this on twitter, but feel to edit that part out). Tough situation but glad the family got to see them play each other before his career came to an end.

I didn't follow at all but had no idea that he had concussion issues. Was wondering why he wasn't getting more playing time and carries because he had been a quality back.

Good that he made the decision though. No football games are worth risking a young man's future, especially when it deals with his brain.

I assume he gets a medical retirement so that he can finish his degree on scholarship?
