Had they not come back, I would have turned this off long ago. thanks for wasting my time. Stick a fork in this one.

Bummer. Put a fork in it. XJ and Ski not clutch at the end.

We need a 3pt specialist. Shooting 2-17 from 3 tonight is absolutely pathetic. Hopefully next year, Fortune can help make this stat better

I would like to see our record if we shot a consistent 3 ball, 30-40% from behind the arc and we can for sure be top 5 in the pac12, also it could help with our confidence.

We need a roster turnover. There are guys playing big minutes that absolutely don't help our team. You mention Talton's line. How about Thomas? O pts, 0 rbs, 0 steals, 0 assists, 4 fouls. Let's not leave Fletcher out of the discussion. 2 pts. There are guys that don't fill a role (ie defense stopper, or rebounder, etc.) They play and contribute NOTHING. X Johnson should be a leader and a solid #2 or #3 scorer we can count on. The dude is bipolar, hot one game and cold two.

This team is going to have a hard time with Booker gone next year. Maybe Fortune is good and can help Scott in the scoring dept. The light has to turn on or they need to move on.

And development always falls on the coach.

They can not make shot when it matters, except for Ski. More importantly, they can not make contested shot. That's the biggest difference between them and real shooter. They need big gap to feel comfortable about attempting shot and even that they are not consistent.

Don't be fooled by their stat line. There is no good shooter in this team right now.

Team has major issues, not sure one off season can fix it. Tad and company have a lot of work and tough decisions ahead it appears...

Also I'm done with Talton. He doesn't belong to this level. I don't care about whether it's his confidence level or what. He is a junior, there should be no confidence issue or whatsoever.

Give Dom as much time as possible to grow him. He has potential.

dont want to give up on XT Either but man....it's like he takes 3-4 shots for the game early on, and if he misses them, he's just whack for the game.

The hope is Dom makes major strides, Fortune kills it out there next year, and whatever divisions/immature bull**** is going on now is brought under control. It's certainly not an impossible scenario, but you're right, we've got major issues and once you've completely lost momentum in epic fashion like we have, it's a challenge to get it back. I'm pretty certain we'll be better next year, I'm just not sure how much. It's the season(s) after that that really worry me.

Guard play. It's killing us.

yep - it was very predictable before the season due to pathetic recruiting at guard. Neither Talton nor Stalzer is PAC 12 player. Hopkins's offensive skills are laughable. Without much more successful recruiting at guard, IMO, CU will be looking for a new basketball coaches in a couple of years. With no Booker, Scott and XJ, I think Boyle's last year at CU may be 2016.

Overreaction of the night!!!

40 ppg will get him to 5th all-time. To reach the top would require that the Buffs dedicate the remainder of the season to Ski's point total - i.e. essentially give him every shot - which come to think of it might be more entertaining than trying to win games. And in fact might result in more wins.

We are:
- 256th in the country in assists per game
- 267th in 3pts made

Guards. Simple as that. Just can't get it done. Same crew coming back next year. Fortune could be MJ and still we'd be miles behind in the backcourt.

Maybe Tad needs to find a couple grad transfers and say bye bye to a couple current players...seems to work for guys like Eustachy and Altman

tough game.

Looking ahead to the Pac-12 tourney, I think the Buffs are playing for the 6th seed. My rationale assumes the goal is to avoid playing UA or UU in the first two rounds. Further, a 5 seed would be ideal, but not too realistic.

7 through 10 seeds put us against a #1 or #2 in round 2. Falling to 11 or 12 is unacceptable.

tough road the Buffs have laid out for themselves.

Let's just say there are people in the know that say our starting PG next year is not even on campus right now.

I agree with the guards comments. We have no efficient guards, no guards that are more then one dimensional, and one guard who loves to shoot, and bunch of others who think that their scholarship will get pulled if they shoot. I think if they right the ship with a playmaker handling the ball, we could turn things around pretty quick. I still say missing on Perkins and landing Collier was just as big of a miss as anything. Hope Dom proves me wrong next year, hopefully he gets in the weight room this offseason.

So much bad from last night.

Josh can't even jump right now. He's a shadow of the guy he was at the beginning of the year. Mad respect for him gutting it out, because it's patently obvious that he's not himself. 17 boards last night.

Good think Ski can shoot FTs, because he wasn't hitting anything from the field and outside of his 10/12 from the stripe the rest of the team went 4/11.

11% as a team from 3pt range? You cannot beat decent teams on the road with that... especially when you turn the ball over 16 times while only forcing 9.

My biggest concern right now, though, is that this team can't make layups. That's an aggression & confidence issue. Team is soft. I hate soft teams. It's the one thing I can't stomach.
