I assumed AFA, Cal, and then sneaking one other win, likely Arizona.

I was way wrong.
I had 4: Cal, AFA, AZ, and ASU.

ASU because they lost a ton in the portal and Herm was going to be fired; they’d been firing assistant coaches left and right. Seemed like a team in complete disarray.

I bought into the D-Line will be our strength, improved QB play, and Sneed being an adequate replacement for Rice. Believed Arias would pull it all together this year making Stanley an afterthought.

I also thought Fontenot would be a 75-100 yard a game guy. His injury was brutal, glad he’s made it back and shown some flashes.

My prediction with ASU was that no matter what happened with them; Cooch or no coach, every player gone via the portal; that they would beat us by 20. I was way off - it was only 8. Moral victory.
