Yeah, surprised to see him excluded from the list, but if it motivates him to push dudes into the endzone then I'm all for it.

Cautiously? I think it has the potential to be top 3rd in the conference but I'm probably drinking the kool-aid

If he reaches 2001 Chris Brown levels, that means our OL is dominating.
When combined with our passing game, that outcome would mean a **** ton more W's than 6.
Coach Chiv is recommending that the offense be kept vanilla this year. Keep it close to the vest until BIG12 play next season.
I can't wait until a D gets caught in a scheme where a LB is covering DE on a wheel route.
Normally this would be cause for serious concern about our DBs. We know our DBs are sick so we can actually be happy about these numbers
I’m all for the kool aid, but the next critical or objective thing Neely (or RK for that matter) says about how the team or a specific player or position group looks will be the first.
They are either going to be a top 3-4 Pac 12 team this year, or they are setting the fanbase up for a massive letdown

I'm just at a point where I need to see them play a damn game. I'm as optimistic as anyone, but I've never seen a program hyped with all gas an no brakes like this. There is simply no middle ground and Prime has blasted anyone who has publicly asked about any kind of tempered expectations.
After getting kicked in the dick for the last two + decades, I'm down with all the optimism.

Refreshing my memory, but that might have been the same game where Bloom took one to the house, burning Terence Newman who pretended to pull a hammy.
Bobby Walker faking a hammy pull after getting smoked was the cherry on top of that play
Philosophically, I am so in agreement with what I have heard (and seen in the vids) from our coaches.
Points of emphasis driving identity seem to be explosive plays (playmaking), ball security, and intensity.
That is what wins.
If we generate more momentum plays, win the turnover battle, and approach every play as battle to win... we are going to win more than we lose. In fact, the only way you lose if you get those 3 things is if the opponent is simply so much better than you that they can impose their will because you're unable to take them out of their comfort zone identity.
Obviously, philosophy is not execution. But I'm very encouraged that we're building under what I know to be a winning philosophy and it's clearly more than talk /coachspeak.
