These renderings are almost as much of a self-own as the nub tourism department coming up with the "It's not for everyone" motto.

And of course all the Nub mouth breathers absolutely love it. It's just so on brand

Reaction from those outside the program wasn't entirely negative:

When you ask ChatGPT to rewrite Spoonman by Soundgarden only using "Corn Man"...

(Verse 1)
In the land of Huskers, where the corn grows high,
Lives a mighty hero, with a cob for an eye,
He roams the fields, stalks of gold in hand,
Corn Man's here to lead, in the Nebraska land.

(Chorus)
Corn Man, corny and grand,
Cob in his grip, ruling the land,
Husker power in the golden reign,
Corn Man's laughter, the Cornhusker's gain.

(Verse 2)
Rows and rows of corn, as far as you see,
Corn Man dancing, feeling fancy-free,
He's got the moves, a husk-filled trance,
Shaking it all, in a corny dance.

(Chorus)
Corn Man, corny and grand,
Cob in his grip, ruling the land,
Husker power in the golden reign,
Corn Man's laughter, the Cornhusker's gain.

(Bridge)
In the cornfields, where the scarecrows play,
Corn Man rises at the break of day,
With a kernel heart and a maize-filled soul,
He's on a roll, he's in control.

(Verse 3)
Cheering for the Huskers, with corn in hand,
Tailgating parties across the land,
Corn Man's leading the cheering cheer,
Huskers triumph, in the golden year.

(Chorus)
Corn Man, corny and grand,
Cob in his grip, ruling the land,
Husker power in the golden reign,
Corn Man's laughter, the Cornhusker's gain.

(Outro)
In the fields of gold, he takes his stand,
Corn Man, the hero, of the Nebraska land,
With a laugh as loud as a combine's whir,
He's the Corn Man, our golden sir!

So far I've been resistant to Chat GPT, but this might invite my participation!

I've found it useful for a couple of things. Saving me from having to look up simple things myself, and goofy **** like this.

Apparently a ton of folks are using them to write letters of recommendation - specifically for the Airlines (or Air Lines if you’re a Delta person).

I've ****ed around with it a lot worth my school, it's a good way to show simple solutions to simple problems, but it's super simplistic in my mind. I would never want to trust my employment to something chat GPT spit out.

So you’ve never applied to the air lines…(🤣🤣). It’s just a bunch of folks taking previous letters, changing the name and number of flight hours.

Wonder how much they are going to love him after a couple more years without bowl appearances?

Even if they beat Northwestern this week which far from certain they would then have to beat Purdue and Michigan State in the following weeks to reach 6 wins.

After that they finish with Maryland (5-2) @ Wisconsin (4-2) and Iowa (6-1.) Don't see a win in the last three so the next three weeks are critical. It's been a while since the fuskers have won 3 games in a row and there aren't any Sun Belt or directional schools in their immediate future.
