I think it's more than just that. Guys literally stop running to the ball when one guy starts to make a tackle. Thus, if the tackle is broken, big plays happen. Good defenses fly to the ball and finish in bunches, not one player while the others watch. Maybe that is still coaching, maybe the team is flat, but not hustling to the ball isn't scheme.
Two great posts.Agree with you-but that's been going on all month. It isn't like Oregon has exposed us. We've gotten away with it because TCU had no tape on our offense, Nebraska's one dimensional, and CSU was so undisciplined it wasn't even funny.
Hunter would make a difference but we would still lose if the OL is this bad.Health has nothing to do with this. Hunter, Slusher and Stoutmire make zero difference in what’s happening today.
Not sure we've broken a tackle & usually haven't even fallen forward. Exact opposite for UO. That is the main giveaway for who wants it more. They said they wanted it before the game but it looks like Oregon wants it more. Especially in the trenches.
Of course they would. We’d be losing 34-0 instead. FacepalmTo be honest, this game is going about how I expected. I didn't think Oregon would be so ruthless but it is what it is. We will get smoked again next week and the question will be how we respond for the rest of the season.
A normal CU team loses at least 1-2 of those.I wouldn’t say they outplayed the talent level in the first 3 games. They played two bad teams and one decent team.
Really? Vs Stanford, Arizona, and ASU - you can’t see those as wins?Having a harder time seeing 6 wins.

I watched 2s sacks and honestly, if he threw the ball out of bounds, it would be grounding. Booger feels 2 needs to move up into the pocket but while Wells is doing a good job not allowing clear rushers, he's getting pushed back on every possession.Tank getting his ass handed to him.
I don’t know what to say if you truly feel this is a significantly different game with TravisHunter would make a difference but we would still lose if the OL is this bad.
Do you not think that making ZERO effort to fire off the line and run the ball is detrimental to the Offensive Linemen? Two great posts.
That said, I expected better from Tank. He's the one they are targeting the most and pushing pressure from the outside. 2 is not even getting a chance to scramble and throw.
Things change when the offensive & defensive best player on either roster is in the game.I don’t know what to say if you truly feel this is a significantly different game with Travis
I’ve told all y’all - 6’8” tackles. Scarier than clowns.Need more horses on the lines
Agreed, but this isn’t a normal CU team. This is still a significantly more talented team than years past, so I don’t think they outplayed their talent.A normal CU team loses at least 1-2 of those.
A different game, yes. Significantly different, we don't have the trench playI don’t know what to say if you truly feel this is a significantly different game with Travis
Don’t forget that a year ago we weren’t just a bad team, we were THE worst team.I wouldn’t say they outplayed the talent level in the first 3 games. They played two bad teams and one decent team.
