Official Construction Update Thread

Good for UNM. That's a heck of a lot better than Wise Pies Arena. That's awful.

If naming rights are really under consideration, I hope they don't butcher the Folsom name. Isn't Coors already a 'naming right' in and of itself?
Coors is the Coors family, not the brewery. Name was attached to the original gift, but my understanding is that it doesn't preclude a corporate sponsor and isn't necessarily permanent as a stipulation of that gift.

Edit: found a couple RG quotes on the subject.

The group on the BSN podcast sure sound like they have inside information that RG is looking for a sponsor for Coors and is actually trying, not just looking for offers but demanding an unreasonably high number.

hmmmmm, this with renovations in mind hopefully.

Seriously wouldn't mind Chipotle being in the running for naming rights. Outside of it originating in CO, Steve Ells went to Boulder High and graduated from CU.

Well we've already sponsored the lockers so it makes sense to sell the names to the stadiums. Maybe Taco Bell can sponsor the toilets and bud light can sponsor the urinals? I do admit a bright blue bud light logo on the urinal would be kind of cool if we didn't have to piss like pigs eat.

Maybe theTB logos could light up the toilets for when you just have to take a **** to make sure you aren't going to sit on puke, piss or someone else's ****. I would prefer the troughs have a wall on top of existing so I don't stare into another man's eyes will taking a piss.

Look at how much Coors beer sales have skyrocketed since we named it Coors Events Center. Naming rights is a bargain!
