Looks like NT and ILBs won the LOS.
Part of why I’m suggesting the defense didn’t play as poorly as some are suggesting

I think he will make an outstanding H-Back.
I do not think the front seven is a huge worry, other than some depth issues.
But the secondary looks questionable at best right now.

i agree-- not sure mr. "i know DBs" left us with enough back there.
Missed on some players and it is showing in a big way.
Great question on Stenstrom.
I was wondering the same, and an injury seems to be the only possible reason? He got scout team QB award I thought. Good kid.
Stenstrom has a foot injury and is limited, cannot scrimmage, but participates in some things.

Yes, I believe I saw him with a blue jersey on in one of the practice pics.
Also notably absent from action in Friday’s scrimmage...Jaylon Jackson. Please don’t tell me.
I thought I read that he played in the scrimmage, just didn’t get a catch and not on the stat line.

My god. He looks awesome.
I've been told that Lytle has been looking very good and is impressing the coaches. I don't think the backup QB situation is as dire as it has been. I also expect that he will get real game reps when we have a big lead so that should make the situation even better as the season goes on in case he is needed.
Is Stenstrom still hurt, I've heard next to nothing about him this spring?

IF we get a big lead. Not sure that looks likely except maybe against the ewes. AFA is going to be a match for our D.
Wishing he wasn’t sacked 5 times.
There will be multiple opportunities in both wins and losses to get Lytle playing time this season. The coaches just need to be willing to do so.

I think it will be serviceable if Auburn transfer J. Johnson makes it here as planned. That gives you Johnson and Sami at the NT, an established playmaker (Mustafa) at one end, and a solid developing talent (Lang) on the other side. Not sure we won’t be playing more 4 man fronts, though.
Depth is definitely the issue. A few injuries and things on the Dline could become bad in a hurry.
