Other Games Thread - Week 5 (12/3 - 12/9)

How many MWC teams can we play? That’s the issue with Nevada.

Huge difference between Nevada and the crap teams (CSU and AFA) we're playing out of that league. Nevada's got everybody back off a team that went to the Sweet 16 last year, and they're more than capable of another deep NCAA tournament run this year. We'd get a bounce from a game like that one way or another regardless of where we'd have played them. Stupid move by Boyle to say no to that.

I agree. But it's CSU, AFA, UNM and probably UNLV in the Maui tourney. 1/3 of our OOC games are against the MWC this year.

Yeah-we've had this conversation ad nauseam on here, but I'd question the wisdom of playing AFA in particular-hopefully that game goes away for a while starting next year.

That whole sequence. The block, the breakout, the shot.
And after the shot, where Wilkes can't stay on his feet.

For those who didn't watch the game, Notre Dame had been dominating the 2nd half mostly because Wilkes was suffering from leg cramps and couldn't play much or play very effectively that half. He came back in, hit the game winning trey with 1 second left and he went down again after his hamstring locked up trying to run down the court. Had to be helped off the court. Allsome.

Arizona (7-2) at Alabama (5-3) at 11am on ESPN. The Pac-12 needs this one badly.

Tonight, Washington (6-3) better protect its home court against a dangerous Seattle (9-2) at 7pm on PACN.

10:30 left. Zona just took a 54-53 lead. They had been down by 19 in the 1st half.

That Jeter kid at Zona has really improved his game from what it was at Duke. Think he had some injuries there, not sure?

Alabama hit a 3 with 13.2 left to go up by 5. Zona answered.

7 seconds left with Bama heading to the line up 2.

Dammit, Arizona.

Gonna be hard for the Pac-12 to justify more than 2 or 3 bids this year.

#7 Tennessee playing #1 Gonzaga. This has been a great weekend for college hoops and it just keeps going.
