Other games weekend of 9/14-9/16

Watching pre-game of USC game. Wandstedt responded to the question of whether USC will steamroll into the P12 championship. He mentioned every team except CU as potential hindrances for USC meeting UW in championship. Ok, new hate for Dave.

Not to defend Butch because I think he's an idiot, but they couldn't just completely put all their DB's down near the goal line because Florida only needed a 25-30 yard completion to have a shot a long FG. And they had a TO left so they didn't even need to get out of bounds. But what happened is still inexcusable

There has to be something between "prevent D, drop everybody back" and "they went deep and we only had a corner and safety back there".

Clemson about to get nailed for targeting on a Lamar Jackson running play. I hate this rule.

Edit: I guess I'd be ok if it was 15 yards and no ejection.

Texas vs USC, I don't want any team to win. Georgia doing what you are suppose to do, dominating an inferior team

ducks just laying a beat down on cowboys...d is much improved and herbert is gonna be a good one

Pelini gonna Pelini.

I think Pelini would play a serial killer if he thought it would help him win. In this case the kid was a highly talented player in HS who was recruited by a lot of programs bigger than Youngstown State. We know that Tressel certainly wouldn't be bothered by playing someone of questionable character if he got an advantage.

With all that this the timing of this probably had a lot to do with lawyers telling the school that they were likely to lose in court.

This was probably what Pelini and Tressell wanted in the first place but the legal argument gives them a great excuse.
